Linkin Park Donates Holiday Gift Bags to Our Staff to Honor their COVID Care
Just before Christmas, Linkin Park reached out to Los Angeles Community Hospital with holiday gift bags for our nursing staff. The band is inspired to serve its community that touches the lives of the underserved. The bags included a gift card, cookies from Homeboy Industries, the world's largest gang rehabilitation and re-entry program, and a personal note from Linkin Park.
World famous Los Angeles-based rock band Linkin Park are currently celebrating the 20th anniversary of their first album Hybrid Theory.
100,000 Hand Sanitizers Donated by Everbrands
Los Angeles Community Hospital received a donation 100,000 hand sanitizers from EverBrands CEO Camilo Triana, a national oral hygiene products company. Although not the primary focus of their business, EverBrands produced the hand sanitizers to do their part in meeting the needs of the pandemic.
"We're experts in manufacturing consumer goods and so when the pandemic hit we decided to help our local communities by producing hand sanitizer. We love to give back and one of our core values is community," said Triana.
"The sanitizers are a great addition to our PPE stock to keep staff and patients safe during the COVID-19 pandemic," said Keith Levy, administrator at Los Angeles Community Hospital.
